Gardaí are appealing for information following the burglary of a home in Craughwell, County Galway on Friday, October 30, 2020.
Shortly after 12 noon on Friday two men called to a man’s home in Craughwell and forced their way into his house.
A small sum of cash and a mobile phone was stolen from the property.
The home owner was treated for minor injuries by paramedics. He was very shaken by the incident.
The two men were seen leaving the house in a grey Toyota Avensis saloon car bearing the partial registration 07LK.
The car is believed to have left the property along the Craughwell to Labane Road travelling in the direction of Ardrahan.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have seen this car in the vicinity of Craughwell between 11am and 2pm on Friday and who may be able to assist Gardaí with their enquiries are asked to contact them.
In particular anyone who may have video footage, including dash cam footage, is asked to make contact with Gardaí.
