60K of Cannabis seized and woman arrested in Cobh on 22/05/18

Gardaí in Cobh have arrested a woman in her 30s and seized approximately €60,000 worth of suspected cannabis herb (pending analysis).

On Tuesday 22nd March 2018 at approximately 10:30pm, Gardaí executed a search warrant at a house in Russell Heights, Cobh, Co. Cork. During the course of the search Gardaí seized an estimated 3KG worth of cannabis herb. A woman was arrested at scene at conveyed to Cobh Garda Station where she is detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
