Two men charged in connection with aggravated burglary in Howth, Dublin on the 13/12/13

Gardaí have charged two men, aged 48 and 35 years, in connection with an aggravated burglary that occurred at Howth, County Dublin on 13th December 2013.

They are both due to appear before Dublin District Court 1, Criminal Courts of Justice this morning, Wednesday 5th October 2016 at 10.30am.
 
The 48 year old man was arrested in Dublin City Centre yesterday evening and brought to Raheny Garda Station. The second man, 35 years, was arrested this morning in West Dublin and brought to Clontarf Garda Station. They have both been charged and remain in Garda custody.
 
The aggravated burglary occurred at Casana View, Howth on the morning of Friday 13th December, 2013 at approximately 9:15 a.m.

Four men entered the house, two at the front door and two at the rear, they threatened and demanded money from the woman of the house. One man was armed with a nail bar. The mother, mid 40’s and daughter, 8 years, were uninjured during the incident. The men made off with a sum of money and escaped with the owner’s car which was located abandoned a short time later in Howth Village.
