As part of an on going operation into the sale and supply of controlled substances in Dublin, Gardaí from the North Central Drug unit attached to Store St Garda station assisted by local uniform Gardaí searched a dwelling at James Larkin House on the 10th June 2016.
During the course of the search Gardaí discovered heroin(pending analysis) with and approximate street value of €7,000, a small quantity of cannabis(pending analysis) and drug paraphernalia was also seized.
One male(25 years) was arrested and is currently detained at Store St. Garda station under the provisions of section 2 of the Criminal Justice(Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 as amended.
