Drug seizure Clondaklin on the 11th June 2016 Cocaine approx value €210,000

As part of an intelligence led operation Gardaí from the Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau(DOCB) stopped and searched a van in Clondalkin on the afternoon of the 11th June 2016. During the course of the search Gardaí discovered approximately 3 kilos of cocaine with an approximate street value of €210,000.

A male(27 years) was arrested and taken to Clondalkin Garda station where he was detained under the provisions of section 2 of the Criminal Justice(Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 as amended. He was later charged on the 11th and is due to appear at Court No.1 Blanchardstown District Ct on the 13th June 2016 at 10.30am.
