Fatal road traffic collision at Collins Avenue East, Dublin 16th October, 2015

Gardai in Clontarf are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occured at Howth Road/Collins Avenue East junction this afternoon, Friday 16th October, 2015 at approximately 12.30p.m.

A female pedestrian (early 70s) was fatally injured when she was struck by a car. She was removed to The Mater Hospital, where she later passed away.
The road was closed, and Garda Forensic Collision investigators have carried out an examination.
