Gardaí from the Drugs & Organised Crime Bureau stopped and searched two cars on the N2 in the Finglas area, resulting in the seizure of cannabis herb with an estimated value of €300,000, pending analysis. The seizure occurred on Friday 30th October 2015 at approximately 1pm
Two males aged 40 and 49 years, were arrested at scene and are currently detained under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996 at Finglas Garda Station.
In a separate unrelated operation, Gardaí from the Drugs & Organised Crime Bureau assisted by Gardaí from the Donnybrook District Drugs Unit conducted a planned search of a premises in Irishtown, Dublin 2 yesterday Friday 30th October 2015 at approximately 4pm, resulting in the seizure of heroin, cocaine and cannabis herb with an estimated value of €880,000, pending analysis.
A man and women, both 29 years, were arrested and are currently detained under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996 at Irishtown Garda Station.
