Firearms and ammunition Seized in Finglas, Dublin 11 on the 27/5/15

As a result of an intelligence led operation conducted today the 27th May 2015, members of the Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau carried out a number of searches in the Finglas area.

During the course of the search Gardaí seized three firearms, ammunition and a quantity of powder like substance and tablets which are all subject to analysis. Two males have been arrested (18yrs and  44 years) and are currently detained at Finglas and Ballymun Garda Stations pursuant to section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 as amended.

 
Investigations are ongoing.
