Drug Seizure in Ballyconnell, Cavan on the 30/9/14

As part of on-going intelligence-led operations targeting the sale and supply of drugs in the Cavan area Gardai have seized a large quantity of cannabis plants.

Gardai from Ballyconnell carried out a search at a disused premises in Mullanwary, Ballyconnell last night at approximately 7pm.  During the course of the search cannabis plants (pending analysis) with an estimates street value of up to €200,000 were discovered.  There were no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
