Witnesses Sought Camden Street Assault

Gardaí are seeking witnesses to a serious assault on Camden Street Upper in Dublin, in the early hours of this morning 4th may 2014. The incident happened shortly after 4.00am when the injured man and two of his friends were involved in a row with three men, believed to be in their 20s.

The injured man, a French national believed to be in his mid twenties, was taken to St James' Hospital with a head injury. The three suspects left the scene in the direction of Rathmines.

The scene of the incident is sealed of for forensic technical examination and a Garda investigation is underway. Anyone who was in the Camden Street area between 4am and 5am is asked to contact Kevin Street Garda Station on 01 666 9400.
