Gardai in Ennis investigating a robbery at a shop on The Market, Ennis, Co. Clare on the 23rd May 2014 have charged a male(28yrs).
He will appear before a special sitting of Ennis District Court on the 24th May 2014 at 12 noon.

Gardai in Ennis investigating a robbery Gardai have arrested a male following a robbery at a shop on The Market, Ennis, Co. Clare this morning.
At approximately 9.25am a lone male entered a Newsagent at The Market, Ennis. The male threatened a staff member with a knife and left the scene with a sum of money. No one was injured during the robbery.
A passing garda patrol who were alerted to the robbery succeeded in arresting the 29 year old male and recovered the knife a short distance away near Parnell Street.
The male is currently detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at Ennis Garda Station.
