Fatal shooting incident Dublin 4th May 2014

Gardaí in Sundrive Road are investigating a shooting incident which occurred in Dublin, on Sunday 4th May 2014.

Shortly before 3pm a male aged in his late 30s was shot a number of times during an incident on Cooley road, Drimnagh. He was pronounced dead at the scene which is preserved pending a technical and forensic examination. The local Coroner and the office of the State Pathologist have been notified.
