Drug and ammunition seizure and arrest at Drogheda, Louth on the 18/5/14

Gardaí from the Divisional Drug Unit at Drogheda, Co Louth have recovered cocaine with an approx. street value of €50,000, subject to analysis.

A small quantity of 9mm ammunition was also recovered the search a car at Donore Road, Drogheda at approx 6pm on the 18th May 2014.

A man in his early 40's was arrested at the scene and is currently detained under Section 2 Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at Drogheda Garda Station.
