Burglaries in Edenderry, Offally on the 16/5/14

Gardai in Edenderry investigating a number of burglaries(with property in excess of €30,000 including jewellery taken and criminal damage (damage in excess of €300,000 caused) to properties in Edenderry during April and May 2014 have arrested three males (16, 17 and 19yrs).

 
They were conveyed to Tullamore Garda Station where they were detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 as amended. All three were charged in connection with a number of burglaries and appeared before Ct No 2, CCJ Parkgate St at 10.30am.The two Juveniles were released on bail to Tullamore District Court on Wednesday the 21st May 2014. The 19 year old male was remanded in custody to the CCJ, Parkgate St on Thursday the 22nd May 2014.
 
This brings to six, the number of people from the Edenderry area who have been charged and brought before the courts during the last week. The other three are all males( two 17 year olds and one 21 year old)
