Arrest of male following robbery at Parnell Square, Dublin on the 10/5/14

Gardaí have arrested a man, 36 years, following a robbery which occurred at a premises on Parnell Square, Dublin 1, on Saturday 10th May 2014 at approximately 1.15pm.

A lone man entered the premises and threatened staff with a bladed implement before fleeing the scene with an amount of cash.

The man was arrested a short time later close to the scene and an amount of cash was recovered. He is currently detained at Mountjoy Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
