Gardaí in Clondalkin are investigating a shooting incident that occurred this evening Wednesday 26th March 2014.
At approximately 6.15 pm a male aged in his 30s walked into Clondalkin Garda Station with are described as gunshot wounds. It is believed the male sustained his injuries some minutes earlier during an incident on Bawnogue Road. The male was removed by ambulance to Tallaght Hospital.
A church car park on Bawnogue Road, Clondalkin Garda Station and part of Tower Road has been sealed off for technical examination. Traffic diversions are currently in place on Tower Road (Clondalkin).
