Serious Assault in Dundalk, Louth on the 28/2/14

Gardaí in Dundalk are investigating a serious assault which occurred in a public house on Castletown Road, Dundalk between 9 pm and 10:30 pm on Friday 28th February 2014.

A man in his 60’s received serious head injuries following an assault. He was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda where his injuries are described as serious. 
 

Investigating Gardaí are appealing to anyone who was in the Castletown Road area between 8:30pm and 12 midnight on Friday (28/2/14) or who may have information to contact Dundalk Garda Station.
