Roscommon three males released without charge 6th March 2014

Three males arrested in connection with an investigation into a Post Office robbery which occurred at Strokestown, County Roscommon, on 4th March 2014, have this morning, 6th March 2014, been released without charge, from Roscommon Garda Station.

Files are being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
 
Two masked men, one believed to be armed with a firearm entered the Post Office in Strokestown. They threatened staff and customers and stole an undisclosed amount of cash. They made their escape in a silver Volvo car in the direction of Longford Town which later crashed on the road between Ballymahon and Lanesborough.
