Gardaí have arrested a man and seized cannabis plants as part of an intelligence led operation conducted by Gardai in the Baltinglass Distrist on Saturday 8th March, 2014.
The search operation was carried out at a house in Rath Na Bo, Blessington, Co. Wicklow yesterday afternoon. A large quantity of cannabis plants with an estimated market value of €130,000, as well as other documentary evidence, was seized by Gardaí.
The man (mid 40's) was arrested and was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at Bray Garda Station.
He has been charged in relation to the seizure and will appear at a special sitting of Naas District Court at 11.30am this morning 9th March.
