Discovery of Body Fassaugh Avenue, Cabra

Gardai in Cabra are investigating the discovery of a seriously injured man that was found on Fassaugh Avenue this morning 18th March, 2014.

Gardai were alerted to the incident at approx 7.30a.m. where a man in his 20s was removed to the Mater Hospital with serious injuries. He died a short time later in hospital.

The scene is currently scealed off and the Office of the State Pathologist has been notified.  The area of Fassaugh Avenue is closed from Killala Road to Dunmanus Road in both directions and local diversions are in place.
