Gardai in Rathfarnham are investigating the discovery of a body of a female in a house in Firhouse on the 9th of March 2014.
At approximately 1.30 pm Gardai and emergency services were called following the discovery of a body of a female at a house on Woodlawn Park Grove, Firhouse. A woman aged in her late 50s was pronounced dead at the scene. The Coroner and office of the State Pathologist were notified. Her body was removed to the mortuary at Tallght Hospital where a post-mortem examination is due to be carried out by the State Pathologist Dr. Cassidy later today (10/3/2014).
The scene is preserved pending the results of a post mortem examination and enquiries are ongoing.
