Ciaran Noonan Murder Investigation - Update on the 14/3/14

A 36 year old man was extradited from Amsterdam, Netherlands to Ireland on foot of a European Arrest Warrant last night 13/3/14.

He is expected to appear before the Courts of Criminal Justice this morning (14/3/14) charged in connection with the Ciaran Noonan murder investigation.
 

The body of Ciaran Noonan was discovered in a field in Tullaghmeaden, Co Meath on the 4th November 2011. (Press Release below refers)

Gardaí at Store Street investigating the abduction of 29 year old Ciaran Noonan from Russell Avenue on Thursday 20th October 2011 have sealed off an area on the Dublin side of  Trim, Co Meath following the discovery of a body. The body was discovered yesterday 4th Nov 2011 following searches that were ongoing for the past number of days.   

The scene has been sealed off for a technical examination and the office of the State Pathologist has been notified. The  body  remains at the scene.
