Witness appeal - Robbery at Blackrock, Dublin on the 24/6/14

Gardai in Blackrock are investigating a robbery of a Service station on the Stillorgan Road, Blackrock on the 24th June 2014.

At approximately 6.25pm two males entered the service station, threatened staff and demanded money. One raider was armed with what was believed to be a firearm the other was in possession of a hammer. They left the scene in a car with a sum of cash. No one was injured in the incident.

 
A short time later Gardai from Blackrock arrested two males on the Lower Kilmacud Road, a sum of cash was recovered. They were taken to Blackrock Garda station where they are being detained under the provisions of Section 30 Offences Against the State Act 1939 as amended.
