Shooting incident in Ballyfermot, Dublin on the 2/4/14

Gardaí are investigating a shooting incident which occurred at Lally Road, Ballyfermot, Dublin 10, this evening, Wednesday 2nd April 2014 at approximately 8.45pm.

One male, 26 years, was injured and taken from the scene to St. James' Hospital. His condition is described as stable.

The scene has been preserved for technical examination.
