Serious Assault & Arrest at Kelly's Row, Dorset Street, Dublin on the 6/4/14

Gardai in Mountjoy are investigating a serious assault that occured at Kelly's Row, Dorset Street, Dublin 1 in the early hours of this morning Sunday 6th April, 2014.

At approximately 1.45a.m. Gardaí were called to the scene of an assault at an apartment at Kelly's Row. One male (late 30s) was seriously injured and removed to Mater Hospital by ambulance. He has since been transferred to Beaumont Hospital and is in a critical condition.

A male aged in his late 20s has been arrested by Gardaí this morning and is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, at Mountjoy Garda Station.
