As a result of an ongoing operation into the illegal sale and supply of controlled drugs in the Kildare area, Gardaí from the Kildare District Drugs Unit seized assorted drugs with an estimated value of €75,000, (pending analysis), following the planned search of a premises in Newbridge last night, Friday 11th April 2014 at approximately 10pm.
The drugs seized included cannabis herb/plants/resin, cocaine and ecstasy.
One man, 38 years, was arrested and is currently detained at Newbridge Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
