Court Appearance - Drugs seizure and arrest at Blarney, Co. Cork on the 1/4/14

A male, 35 years who was arrested at Kilclough, Vicarstown, Blarney, Co Cork yesterday evening, Tuesday 1st April, 2014 and detained at Gurranabraher Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 as amended, in relation to a seizure of 38 Kilos of cannabis resin is scheduled to appear before Cork District Court, tomorrow morning Thursday 3rd April, 2014 at 10.30am charged in relation to the seizure.

In a follow up search another 4 kilos of cannabis resin was recovered, which will bring the seizure to an approximate street value of €250,000 (subject to analysis).
