Court Appearance Crime Western Region

Five people are due before Galway District Court at 10.30am on Monday 14th April 2014, charged in relation to crime committed in the Western Region.

As part of an investigation into robberies and burglaries in the Western Region, Gardai from Galway, assisted by a number of national units, arrested four men and one woman on Saturday 12th April, 2014.

The four men, (ranging in ages from 25 - 30 years) and the one woman (mid 20s) were all detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at Galway, Loughrea and Tuam Garda Stations.
