Counterfeit Currency Seized - Dublin

On 16th April 2014 members of the Garda Special Detective Unit, as a result of information received searched a lock up premises in North county Dublin and recovered a large amount of counterfeit currency.

In follow up operations, searches were carried out in the Coolock and Artane areas on 17th April 2014 during the course of which printing and computer equipment were seized.

One male aged in his fifties has been arrested and is currently detained at Coolock Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
