Traffic alert on the 3/1/12

Gardai are advising road users to exercise extreme caution over the coming hours as storm force winds and heavy rain continue to make driving conditions difficult across the country.

Drivers are advised to reduce speed, be aware of the ever changing conditions and the potential for hazards such as fallen trees, branches and other debris particularly on minor roads.  Motorists should drive with their lights on and allow additional journey time.
