The body of Gavin Sheelan who had been missing since the 3rd January 2012 from Annaloughan, Co. Louth, was found on the 7th January.

Gardaí at Dundalk are seeking the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 20 year old Gavin Sheelan of Annaloughan, Co. Louth.
Gavin was last seen at his home at 8am on the morning of Tuesday, 3rd January 2012, and has not been seen since.
He is described as being 5’11’’ in height, thin build, with brown hair and blue eyes. When last seen he was wearing a black jacket, woollen hat, blue jeans and runners. His family are concerned for his safety.
Due to proximity to the border it is also possible that Gavin is in Northern Ireland.
