Human Remains discovered near Military Road. Tallaght, Dublin on the 8/1/12

Gardaí at Tallaght are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of human remains in forestry near Military Road. Tallaght, Dublin 24 this morning, the 8th january 2012.

 Investigating Gardaí were alerted to this situation by members of the public who were walking in the area. The scene has been preserved. The Garda technical bureau is currently at the scene and the office of the State Pathologist has been notified. 
 

The remains will be taken to the City Morgue in Marino this evening where an examination is expected to take place on Monday (9/1/12).
