Gardaí in Fermoy are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred at Kilcronat, Ballynoe at 4.35p.m. this afternoon, the 14th January, 2012.
An 83 year old male who was the passenger of a car was killed when the car he was in collided with a wall. The female driver (mid 60’s) was removed to Cork University Hospital with injures which are not life threatening.
The road was closed for a Forensic Collision examination and that has been completed and the road is reopened now.
