Armed robbery at Donaghmeade Shopping Centre, Dublin on the 19/1/12

Gardai in Coolock are investigating the circumstances of an armed robbery on a Cash in Transit van at Donaghmeade Shopping centre on the 19th January 2012.

The robbery occurred at approx 10.15am on the 19th January 2012 as the Cash in Transit employees were delivering cash to an ATM at Donaghmeade Shopping Centre.  The Cash in Transit employees were approached by two culprits who were believed to be in possession of a firearm.  The culprits (who wore balaclavas, no further description available at this time) left the scene with an undisclosed amount of money in a black 07 C 4x4 and went in the direction of Clare Hall, Coolock.


Witnesses or anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in or around the Shopping Centre prior to the robbery is asked to contact the Gardai in Coolock on 01 6664200, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
