Shooting incident at Harolds Cross, Dublin on the 20/9/11

Gardai at Terenure are investigating a shooting incident which occurred at a lane-way near Harolds Cross Road, Dublin, on the 20th of September 2011.

At approx 6.30pm a male aged in his late 20's was injured when he was shot a number of times at a lane-way linking Harolds Cross Road to a nearby playing field.  He was taken by Ambulance to hospital.


The scene has been preserved for a technical examination and an incident room has been set up a Terenure Garda Station.


Investigating Gardai are appealing to anyone in the vicinity of Harolds Cross Road between 6pm and 6.30pm this evening to contact them.
