Gardai in Ballymun investigating the fatal shooting of a 49yr old man at St Margaret's Halting site, Ballymun on the 3rd Sept 2011 will hold a Press briefing at Ballymun Garda Station at 11.30am this morning, the 4th September 2011.

Gardai in Ballymun are investigating the circumstances of the fatal shooting of a 49yr old man at St Margaret's Halting site on the 3rd Sept 2011 .
The incident occurred at approx 9.50pm on the 3rd September 2011 at St Margaret's Halting site Ballymun.The seriously injured man was taken by ambulance to the Mater Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The scene has been preserved for a technical examination, a second scene(burnt out car) at Mayeston, St Margarets Rd, Finglas is also being preserved in relation to the incident.
