Gardai in Ballymun are investigating the circumstances of the fatal shooting of a 49 yr old man at St. Margaret's Halting site on the 3rd September 2011.
The incident occurred at approx 9.50pm on the 3rd September 2011 at St Margaret's Halting site Ballymun.The seriously injured man was taken by ambulance to the Mater Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The scene has been preserved for a technical examination, a second scene (burnt out car) at Mayeston, St Margarets Road, Finglas is also being preserved in relation to the incident.
