Gardai in Tralee are investigating the circumstances of a fatal road traffic collision in Tralee on the 5th September 2011.
The collision at the junction of Strand Road and Matt Talbot Road, Tralee occurred shortly after 11am on the 5th Sept 2011 involving a truck and a pedestrian. The pedestrian (mid 60's) was seriously injured in the collision and taken to Tralee General Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. No one else was injured in the collision.
The road has been closed to facilitate a Forensic Collision Investigation and diversions are in place
