Gardaí at Drogheda, Co. Louth are investigating a three car fatal road traffic collision which took place at approximately 10.20am today Monday, the 12th September 2011).
The collision occurred on the Termonfeckin Road, Drogheda involving three cars.
A 27 year old female rear seat passenger of one of the vehicles was fatally injured. A number of other people were injured (not serious)
The road has been closed to facilitate a Forensic Collision Investigation and diversions are in place.
