Serious Road Traffic Collision in Limerick 23rd October, 2011

Gardaí in Bruff, Limerick are investigating a two car serious injury road traffic collision that occurred at Knockane Cross, Garrydoolis, Pallasgreen, Limerick between 1.00/1.30a.m. this morning, Sunday 23rd October, 2011.

A driver (early 50’s) of one of the vehicles was removed to Limerick Mid Western Regional Hospital but later transferred to Cork University Hospital with serious injuries, the passenger (mid 30’s) of this car was also removed to Limerick Hospital and remains there with serious injuries.

The driver of the second car was uninjured.

The road is closed at present and diversions are in place.
