Gardai in Henry St investigating the murder of Martin Purcell in Limerick City will hold a press briefing at Henry Street Garda station on the 1st October 2011 at 1pm.

Gardai at Henry St. are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a body of a male, believed to be aged in his late 50s or early 60s, at a flat on Wickham St. this morning.
 
The services of the State Pathologist have been requested and the scene is preserved for technical examination.
