Fatal road traffic collision at Kilmaniham, Dublin on the 11/10/11

Gardai in Kilmainham are investigating the circumstances of a fatal road traffic collision on Steeven's Lane, Kilmainham on the 11th October 2011.

The collision involving a male (35yrs) pedestrian and the Luas occurred at approx 4.30pm on the 11th October 2011.  The male was pronounced dead at the scene and has been removed to the City Morgue.
 
The road is currently closed to the Luas (Red Line) to facilitate a Forensic collision examination
