Gardaí at Blanchardstown are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred on Wednesday, the 12th October 2011, on the Snugborough Road, Blanchardstown.
The collision occurred at approx 11.25pm on the 12th October 2011 when the driver(31yrs), the sole occupant of the 4x4 collided with a tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene and was removed to the morgue at James Connolly Memorial Hospital. No one else was injured in the collision.
The road was closed to facilitate a forensic collision investigation this is now finished and the road has re-opened.
