Drugs seizure Gort, Co. Galway

On the 19th October 2011 as part of an ongoing investigation Gardai carried out a searched of a house in the Gort area of Co Galway. During the search Cannabis Resin with an estimated street value of €170,000 (subject to analysis) was seized.

Two males aged in their 40s and a female aged in her 30s were arrested and are currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996, at Gort and Loughrea Garda Stations.
