Drug Seizure at Dunleer, Louth on the 25/10/11

As the result of an ongoing operation targeting the sale and supply of controlled drugs in the Louth area Gardaí from Ardee searched a house on Farm Road, Adamstown, Dunleer, Castlebellingham.

This search took place earlier this evening, Tuesday 26th October 2011, and cannabis herb, cannabis resin and ecstasy tablets with a combined potential street value in excess of €500,000 (subject to further analysis) was seized.

Ammunition found at the scene was also seized.

No arrests have been made and investigations are continuing.
