Body discovered in Co. Galway on the 11/10/11

Gardaí in Salthill are investigating all the circumstances surrounding the discovery of the body of a man at Rossaveal, Connemara, Co Galway.

The body was discovered in a ditch by a passer-by at approximately 8am this morning (11/10/11).

The office of the State Pathologist and the Garda Technical Bureau has been notified, the scene is preserved pending a Garda technical examination.

Investigations are ongoing.
