Fatal road traffic collision in Carlow Town on the 25/11/11

Gardaí in Carlow are investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Thompsons Corner in the town centre this morning 25/11/11.

At approximately 11am this morning a female pedestrian aged in her 30’s was seriously injured when she was in collision with a car.  She was pronounced dead at the scene.
 

There are traffic diversions in place in order to facilitate a Garda forensic examination.
