Update on Traffic Management Plan, Dublin City 14 May 2011

Parnell Square East and North Frederick Street are now closed to vehicle traffic until further notice. There is still pedestrian access in the vicinity of Parnell Square.

Restrictions to on-street parking in Dublin city centre commenced at 06:00 hrs this morning, Saturday 14 May 2011. Full details of the streets affected are available on www.garda.ie
 
Barriers are being put in place along routes throughout the city centre today and tomorrow.
 
Gardaí are asking cyclists not to lock bicycles to railings, fences, lamp posts etc., along routes with barriers. Bicycles will be removed.
 
From Monday 16 May 2011 at 10:00hrs the Dublin City Council Help Desk will include a number of gardaí who will be able to assist people seeking advice on how to access the city centre for deliveries, appointments and so on over the course of next week. The number is 1800 293949.
