Fatal road traffic collision at Ballindangan, Co. Wexford on the 2/5/11

Gardaí at Enniscorthy are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred sometime after 3.30am this morning, the 2nd May 2011, at Coolacarney, Ballindangan, Co. Wexford.

The 2 male occupants of a car were taken to Wexford General Hospital after the car they were travelling in collided with the pillar of a wall.  The 17 year old driver of the car was pronounced dead there a short time later.

In the last while his passenger, also 17 years old, has died.

A forensic collision investigation has begun and the road will remain closed to allow it's completion.  This is having minimal affect on traffic in the area.
