Suspicious death at Inchicore, Dublin on the 19/3/11 - Arrests

Gardai in Kilmainham investigating the murder of David Byrne (19yrs) at Emmet Court, Inchicore on the 19th March 2011 have arrested 4 males in their mid to late teens.

They were arrested this morning, the 22/3/11 in the Drimnagh area of the city. Two are being detained under the provisions of Section 30 Offences Against the State Act 1939 as amended and the other two are being detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 as amended.
 
Gardai would like to renew their appeal for anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone who has any information in connection with the incident to contact them in Kilmainham on 01 6667300, the Garda Confidential Line or any Garda Station

Gardai in Kilmainham investigating the murder of a male (19yrs) in Inchicore on the 19th March 2011 are appealing for witnesses to the incident to come forward, in particular anyone who may have seen a number of youths run along the canal from the direction of Davitt House and over the bridge towards Emmet Court shortly after 10pm on the 20th March 2011.

The post mortem is due to take place tomorrow morning.

Gardai in Kilmainham are investigating the discovery of a seriously injured male (19yrs) in Inchicore on the 19th March 2011. He later died at St. James hospital.

The incident occurred at approx 10.30pm on the 19th March 2011 at the car park of Emmet Court apartment block, Inchicore,  the male was seriously injured and taken to St. James Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 11.45pm on the 19th March 2011.

The scene has been preserved for a Technical Examination to be carried out by the Technical Bureau, Garda Headquarters.

The services of the State Pathologist have been requested and a Post Mortem is expected to take place later today.
